Members of the Evergreen Garden Club held their November meeting at the Allied Waste Pinehill Landfill. After a brief program by Gene Keenon, Allied’s manager of Governmental Affairs, the group was taken on a detailed tour of the landfill by Pinehill manager Bill Bybel to learn how a modern sanitary landfill operates.
