KC claims tournament championship
      Kilgore College Rangers notched another win, defeating Ranger 63-52 Saturday night. The Rangers are now 4-1 on the season and travel to Little Rock tonight to take on Arkansas Baptist. The win over Ranger came in the final game of the Comfort Suites Basketball Classic ay Masters Gym here.

KC gridder Chase Ford named conference MVP
      Chase Ford, Kilgore College tight end, was named Most Valuable Player in the Southwest Junior College Football Conference. Ford was among eight KC players who received post-seaso;n All-Conference honors. Named to the first team offense were Ford, lineman Michael Crowell and center Junior Kautai. Included on the first team defense was defensive back Jimmy Anderson.
