Facade grants changing the face of downtown

As the Main Street project changes the face of downtown Kilgore, that change has uncovered a number of welcomed surprises. One of those surprises was hidden behind an aluminum facade in the Gold Star Finance building.

I believe that was the Hurwitz Man's store. `I remember that being the only store around where you could buy jeans in smaller sizes. I was all of 97 pounds and they were the only ones who sold 25 X 34 jeans.
