Jimmy McFarland, 53, of Kilgore lost a five-year battle with cancer on Sunday, November 8, 2009. Jimmy was born in Houston, Texas, to Jimmie and Easter McFarland on March 8, 1956, and moved to Kilgore in 1966. Jimmy graduated from Kilgore High School and attended Kilgore College. He was a machinist and worked at various shops in both Kilgore and Longview.
