BASKETBALL KHS girls home Tuesday; boys open Nov. 19th

The Kilgore High School girls basketball teams will host Carthage this Tuesday night, beginning with junior varsity at 5 p.m.

Coach Davia Garrett’s Lady Bulldogs will be on a mission to get back to the playoffs this season. The Lady ’Dogs are also in action next Friday at Marshall, a 6 p.m. JV start.

Garrett is assisted once again by Jerry Reddic and by Lacy Thompson.

The KHS boys, now coached by Kerry Strong, won’t begin their season officially until Nov. 19, a home game against Athens. Strong is in his first season as head coach at KHS — he’s assisted by former head coach Jimmy Williams, and by John McGilvray.
