ANNONA R. “NONA” HEIZER

HOLLY LAKE RANCH -- Funeral services for Annona R. “Nona” Heizer, 84, Holly Lake Ranch, will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 11, in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Jim Atkins and Ben Draper officiating. Burial will be in the Overton City Cemetery.
Mrs. Heizer died Saturday, November 7, 2009 in Tyler. She was born January 27, 1925 in Frost to the late Raymond and Edna Elizabeth Tekell Stewart. She moved to Holly Lake thirty years ago from Kilgore. She was a homemaker and loved fishing, gardening and the outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claud A. Mitchell, a son, Claud Steven Mitchell, two brothers James Robert Stewart and Ralph Stewart, and a sister, Gwendolyn Faye Williams.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Claudia Mitchell and Dale England of The Woodlands, and Linda Draper of Alba; seven grandchildren, great-grandchildren, including Brandi Mizzell; five great grandchildren including Cason and Avery Mizzell and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 10 at the funeral home.
