EDITOR’S NOTE: This is the latest report from the Kilgore Soccer Association. These game reports are submitted by coaches, and names are spelled and facts reported as they are submitted. Coaches should place first and last names on the reports, or games cannot be included in the paper. Game reports can be e-mailed to Mitch at sports@kilgorenewsherald.com, brought by the News Herald’s office at 610 East Main Street, or faxed, attention to Lucas, at (903) 984- 7462. Reports cannot be taken over the phone. They must be submitted by Monday at 5 p.m. to run normally in Wednesday’s sports section.

Under-6 girls

• Tinkerbells vs. Little Divas: For the Tinkerbells, Makayla Thompson and Callie Sparks scored, and top defenders were Emily Carter, Trinity Mooney, Madelyne Kirby and Avery Woods. The Tinkerbells are coached by Brandon Carter.

Under-6 boys

• Lil’ Thunder vs. Scorpions: Chance Hanna and Lennon Sheffield each scored for the Lil’ Thunder, and Ashton Alexander contributed with two assists. In addition to those three, other top offensive players were Dylan Stafford, Tanner Bonnette, and Angel Rico. Defensive standouts, as well, were Chance Hanna and Lennon Sheffield, and the Lil’ Thunder is coached by Jerry Hanna.

• Kilgore Krue vs. Strykers: Jose Galvan scored five times for the Krue. Brannigan Willige scored twice, and Christopher Galindo and Camden Childress each scored once. Azael Rodriguez also was a big help on offense.

Defensive standouts were Brannigan Willige, Jose Galvan, Camden Childress and Christopher Galindo. The Krue is coached by Kristen Allen.

Under-8 girls • Lil’ Americas vs. Henderson: The Lil’ Americas had a surprise for the visiting Henderson team, a Halloween surprise: all the Lil’ Americas had their faces painted for the game! Gracie Vasquez and Madison Alford scored for the Lil’ Americas, and Samantha Linkinhoker and Caitlin Bates were also a big help on offense. Top defenders were Ashley Hernandez, Susie Reyes and Natalie Galvan, as well as goalies Madison Alford with five saves and Cristina Rosas, who had three.

The Lil’ Americas are coached by Patty Guiterrez and sponsored by TSI Supply and Services.
