Chris Johnson, a sophomore from Canada and one of just a few players back from last year's KC team, once again led the Rangers in scoring with 13 points. More ... A goal that the Kilgore College Rangers set at the beginning of every season is to be one of the four teams still standing at the conclusion of the always-grueling Southwest Junior College Football Conference schedule. It took a monumental effort in the end, but the Rangers accomplished that goal last Saturday, traveling about five hours one-way and handing Cisco a 27-10 loss. More ... They were assigned with competing in one of the toughest regions in the state, and while they didn’t finish well enough to move on to the state tournament, the Kilgore High School tennis team still accomplished a few special things in the recently-concluded fall season.
