Son of Ben and Kate; husband of Jean; father of Ronee, Terri, Brant and Robin; grandfather and greatgrandfather.

A devoted son, a dependable brother, a supportive father, a loving husband and companion, a prankster uncle and colorful grandfather.

He was a champion athlete, a great dancer, a farmer, rancher, hunter, fisherman and an honest, hardworking man.

He lived life by his own terms. By all ways that a man can be judged, he was a great success. No one can fill his boots. We will miss him.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1.

Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at the First Presbyterian Church of Kilgore with Reverend David Hampton officiating.
