BESSIE HUDSPETH

Services for Bessie Hudspeth, 87, of Kilgore, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Phillips and the Rev. Harry La- Grone officiating. Interment will follow at Rusk County Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Hudspeth died Oct. 28 in Kilgore.

Mrs. Hudspeth was born on May 14, 1922, in Vivian, La. She was a beautician and owned Bessie’s Beauty Shop for several years. Mrs. Hudspeth was an active member of Friendship Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Edgar and Annie Lee Sample.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-inlaw, Janie Annette and E.R. Jackson of Natchez, Miss., and Brenda and Richard Henley and Neva and Michael Hobbs, all of Kilgore; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

The family received friends at Rader Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30.
