KILGORE DOWNTOWN TRICK-OR-TREAT
 Once again thousands of young and young at heart entered downtown Kilgore for the cities annual ‘Downtown Trick-Or-Treat. There were costume contests, games, clowns making balloons and this year was the first pet costume contest. Businesses lined up to give candy to all the kids. Some even ran out of candy, so this might have been the biggest year ever in attendance. (photos left to right, top to bottom) There were pirates, astronauts and one guy with cheese on his head, wait that is Charlie of Charlie’s Snowballs, the lines seem to go on forever on the newly paved downtown sidewalks. One of the many pets entered in the pet contests, this dog was a little devil, one little ladybug posed with a vampire, and it looks like the Cat in the Hat. This little witch finished third in one of the costume contests, then there was Raggedy Ann and a one-eyed pirate or maybe it’s Carol Hinton. And somebody forgot to tell Dorothy there’s no gum in Oz.
