Services for Mrs. Janie Richardson Adams, 59, of Kilgore will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 10 A.M. at the Church of God of Prophecy in Liberty City with Mr. Wesley Vandever officiating. Burial will follow at Kilgore Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore Monday from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Mrs. Adams passed away Friday in Longview.
She was born November, 18 1949, daughter of the late Bill and Christine Richardson. Janie was a 1968 graduate of Bayfield High School in Colorado, where she was Homecoming Queen. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of God of Prophecy Church in Liberty City.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband Delmar Adams of Kilgore, children, Amanda Cook of Kilgore, Crystal Player and husband Kelley of Kilgore, Brian Cook of Kilgore; step children, Elizabeth Lumpkin and husband Billy and Patricia Herring and husband Eugene of Kilgore; sister, Willie Hobbs; brothers, Max Brekenfield and Bill Richardson; grandchildren, Hunter and Hagen and several step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. .
