Workforce Solutions begin massive layoffs

Officials at Workforce Solutions East Texas announced this week that 40 percent of its employees in 14 counties will be laid off following funding cuts. The program provides services and training to job seekers, with full-service centers in Tyler, Longview, Marshall and Palestine and satellite offices in other counties within its region.
