Roy Lee Kimmel, 70, of Friendswood, Texas, was taken by Father God early Saturday, October 17, 2009, following a graceful and merciful battle with Alzheimer’s, leaning on the love of his family. He was born February 18, 1939, in Longview, Texas, as the fifth of six boys to Lowell and Fronia (Brantley) Kimmel of Kilgore, Texas.
