EAST TEXAS YAMBOREE

DESIREE’ BRIANA COUCH Desiree’ Briana Couch will represent Kilgore High School in the 72nd East Texas Yamboree Queen’s Coronation of Queen Yam LXXII.

The coronation will be presented in two performances, Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 14-15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Gilmer Civic Center on U.S. 271 North.

Desiree’ is the daughter of Brandy McClung and Randy and Gina Couch of Kilgore. She is the granddaughter of Jay and Gilbert Couch and Johnnie and Jim Cleveland of Kilgore.

She is an honor roll student and a member of the Student Council, La Bamba and the Anchor Club. She also participates in dance. She plans to major in education at Stephen F. Austin State University.

This year’s queen is Lindsey Renee Donaho, daughter of Joe and Shawyne Donaho.
