      LINDALE — What looked at more than one point to be a crushing defeat was turned into a victory here at Eagle Stadium Friday night, as the Kilgore High School football team just absolutely refused to lose to the Lindale Eagles in the District 14-4A opener for both teams.

KHS tennis a win away from district championship
      It’s almost a clean sweep now for the Kilgore High School tennis team. The Bulldogs defeated Henderson in Henderson on Tuesday afternoon to run their District 14-4A record this fall season to a perfect 4-0. Kilgore is off this weekend, and hosts Nacogdoches in the final district matchup of the fall on Tuesday. If KHS wins, it’s another district championship.
