A Kilgore woman reported Thursday that someone attempted to scam her and at least two other local women, saying they had “won” a Jamaican lottery. The resident, who did not want the News Herald to publish her name, said she received a telephone call Wednesday evening from a man who advised she had won a lottery. More ... Look around. Alberta Wilbanks, 96, was at home with her caregiver when they found the fire, said Wilbanks’ pastor, James Boatman of First Pentecostal Church.
