Horton, Williams set sail

Mr. and Mrs. Casey Williams Mr. and Mrs. Casey Williams Jamie Lou Horton and Harold Truman “Casey” Williams, Jr. were united in marriage on June 21, 2009, at the home of Butch and Linda Williams in Jackson Hole, Wyo. The garden ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Frank Johnson.

The bride wore a gown designed by Nicole Miller. Serving as matron of honor was Mrs. Katie Diebolt, sister of the bride, of Lake Cherokee. The father of the groom served as best man.

A reception catered by Bubba’s BBQ followed at the Old Wilson Schoolhouse. Dancing and entertainment continued at Stagecoach Bar with music by Stagecoach Band.

The bride is the daughter of Linda Lou Horton of Kilgore and James and Juanita Horton of Haines, Alaska. Jamie is a 1992 graduate of Kilgore High School and a 1996 graduate of Baylor University. She is a public relations professional and currently employed at Cakebread Cellars in Napa, Calif.

The groom is the son of Butch and Linda Williams of Jackson Hole. Casey is a 1996 graduate of Jackson Hole High School and a 2000 graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, N.Y. He is an engineer on American cargo ships and tankers shipping out of the port of Oakland, Calif.

Guests came from Panama, Alaska, New York, Oregon, California, Texas, Florida, Rhode Island and Idaho to celebrate the couple’s nuptials.

The couple has traveled extensively in the Caribbean Sea and Pacific South American coast on their 35-foot sailboat, the Santa Magdalena, which is currently docked in Puerto Williams, Chile. The couple will be at home aboard the Santa Magdalena wherever her port may be.
