RUTH ELLEN PAGE WALLACE

Ruth Ellen Page Wallace was called to be with our Lord on October 6, 2009, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Ruth was born in Kilgore, Texas, on September 18, 1935, to Ed and Geneva Page.
She was a long-time member of The Oaks Fellowship Church, Red Oak, Texas, (formerly Oak Cliff Assembly of God) where she was a member of the choir, a Sunday School teacher and coach of the Teen Bible Quiz team for many years. After raising her family, she went back to school and received a teaching degree from Dallas Baptist University so she could pursue her life-long dream of becoming a teacher. She taught at Evangel Temple Christian School in Grand Prairie, Texas.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Travis Lee Wallace of Grand Prairie; brother, Hank and Tonya Page of Longview; daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Ken Lynch of Midlothian, Phylis and Jack Mourning of Midlothian, LeAnn and Scott Jones of Waxahachie; grandchildren, Jackie and Danny Mourning, Shellie Lynch, Andrea and Clayton Brooks, Lisa and Christian Conatser, Grant and Ashlie Lynch, Cameron Lynch, Kendall Lynch, Natalie Jones and Mallory Jones; great-grandson, Connor Brooks; along with many loving family members and friends. She will be greatly missed but we know we will see her again some day.
Visitation with family will be at Jaynes Memorial Chapel on Sunday, October 11, from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2009, at The Oaks Fellowship, 777 S. I-35 @ Hwy 77 in Red Oak, Texas. Burial will follow at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
