EARNEST EARL GREER, SR.
Graveside Services for Earnest Earl Greer, Sr., 86, of Kilgore, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Kilgore Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. David Hampton officiating. Local arrangements under the direction Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore. Mr. Greer passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009 in Longview.
Mr. Greer was born on August 21, 1923 in Morningsport, Louisiana to the late Jess Greer and Maude Lee. He worked for many years in the Oil Field and owned and operated his own carpet business.
He is preceded in death by five brothers and one daughter.
Mr. Greer is survived by his wife Mary Louise Greer of Kilgore; sons, James Earl Greer of California, Ernest Earl Greer, Jr. of Kilgore and Jerry Greer of New Orleans, La; daughter, Anna Lee Greer of Rhode Island; four sisters; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from six until eight p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
