A Few Good Men’ comes to KC stage The Kilgore College Theatre Department will perform the courtroom drama “A Few Good Men” beginning Tuesday night. Performances are set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, Oct. 6-10, with a matinee performance at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11. All performances will be in Van Cliburn Auditorium at the Anne Dean Turk Fine Arts Center on the KC campus. The play, written by Aaron Sorkin, first appeared on Broadway in 1989 and was subsequently adapted for the screen in 1992 for a film starring Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson and Demi Moore. It tells the story of military lawyers at a court-martial who uncover a high-level conspiracy in the course of defending their clients, United States Marines accused of murder. The play examines the questions of duty, honor, patriotism, justice and the rule of law. Tickets for the play are $6 for adults, $5 for students and $4 with a KC identification card. The box office will open one hour prior to each performance and nobody will be admitted after the play has begun. Patrons can make reservations and pick up tickets at the Will Call window on the afternoon or night of the performance. All seats are general admission. The play contains adult language and some violence. Children under the age of six will not be admitted. Parental guidance is suggested for students under the age of 14.
