Summer is fading fast and Tuesday’s official arrival of autumn was especially good news to me. Seems my eight-yearold Ford Escape’s six-disc CD player has been jammed up all summer. I chalked it up to the heat and old age (for the car and myself). I had just about decided I would break down and take it to someone who could repair it or replace it.
