Plans to build a memorial to Kilgore’s former all-black high school is the topic of an alumni meeting on Saturday. Members of the Kilgore Colored High School-C.B.Dansby High School Alumni Association have launched “Operation Commemoration” and plan to discuss several matters when they meet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kilgore Public Library on Sept. 26.
