City will get petition for funds Tuesday

Kilgore City Council members will get their first look Tuesday night at a petition being circulated by downtown merchants. The petition asks the city to reimburse them for revenues lost during the downtown street scaping. Doyle Turner, owner of The Dove’s Kitchen, said his request to address the council has been placed on the council’s agenda as an action item.
