KPD REPORT Kilgore police worked 38 calls and made three arrests on Tuesday. Calls included: one 911 investigation; one building burglary in the 200 block of North Henderson Boulevard; one for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; one suspicious activity; one for indecency with a child; four motor vehicle accidents with no reported injuries; two for criminal mischief; two thefts; one home burglary in the 300 block of Laurel Street; one disturbance; one for public intoxication; and nine for animal control. Officers worked 28 calls on Wednesday and made one arrest. Calls included: one suspicious person; one robbery; one gas theft; two disturbances; one motor vehicle accident with no reported injuries; one for indecency with a child; one for criminal trespass; one theft; one for harassment; one missing person; and six for animal control. On Thursday police had 29 calls and arrested two people. Calls included: a home burglary in the 2200 block of Clay Street; a building burglary in the 300 block of Laurel Street; one drug-related offense; one for indecency with a child; two attempted suicides; two disturbances; one suspicious activity; one mental subject; and eight for animal control. KPD reports the following arrests: Tuesday, Sept. 1 Jacob Aaron Betts, 20, of Hawkins, one warrant from another agency Derek Benard Orange, 30, of Kilgore, one warrant from another agency Jimmy Alan Whisenhunt, 45, of Gladewater, public intoxication Wednesday, Sept. 2 Carl Edward Lacy, 48, of Kilgore, expired inspection sticker, driving while license invalid and failure to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle Thursday, Sept. 3 Bryan Deon Williams, 24, of Kilgore, driving while license invalid, failure to display an inspection certificate, no auto liability insurance and one warrant from another agency Cheryl Larounda Benton, 39, of Kilgore, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license invalid and no seat belt/driver
