EVERGREEN GARDEN CLUB of Kilgore will hold its first meeting of the 2009-2010 year at the home of member Pat Boyd, at 11 a.m. Sept. 3. The program for "Plans To Go Green" will include presentation and discussion of yearbooks and schedule for the club year and preparation for the club's rose placement show, which will take place on Oct. 1.

QUILTERS GUILD OF EAST TEXAS will meet 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 10 in the Founder's Center at Pollard United Methodist Church, 3030 New Copeland Rd., Tyler.
