Following a public hearing that nobody attended, Kilgore Economic Development Corporation's board unanimously approved funding for several improvements to Pentecost Park. KEDC will give the city $46,460 to pay for playground equipment, fall protection for the playground, a pavilion, parking area, water drinking fountain and the installation of electrical plugs.
