FOR SURE, WE WOULD DO A terrible job of eulogizing Ted Kennedy. None of us here knew him well enough to offer anything significant. And we certainly couldn't offer anything particularly insightful. BUT I am comfortable saying this: For as far back as my political memory stretches, at least one Kennedy has been important to national politics.
