MARCUS 'DWAIN' REYNOLDS

A memorial service for Marcus "Dwain" Reynolds, 60, of Bullard, will be held on Friday, August 21, 2009, at 10 a.m. at First Methodist Church in Bullard under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Fitzgerald officiating. Mr. Reynolds passed away, Friday, August 14, 2009, at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. He was born May 7, 1949, in Athens to Marcus and Christene Dosser Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds was a 1967 graduate of Brazosport High School. He then earned a degree in Industrial Arts from Southwest Texas State in 1972. Dwain later obtained a Master of Education degree in 1996 from Stephen F. Austin. He retired in 2008 as principal at Bullard Middle School after a long career in education. Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents. Dwain is survived by his loving family including his wife of 35 years, Ronda; sons, Brandon Reynolds and wife Shannon of Flint, and Cody Reynolds of Houston; grandchildren, Aidan and Madison Reynolds; and siblings, Gary Reynolds and wife Judy of Athens, and Terry Reynolds of Athens.
