Two-a-days began Monday at Kilgore High School. Above: defensive coordinator Mike Wood (center, in white) and Jody Sanders (far right) look on as defensive linemen square off. Friday will be the first day of practice in pads for the Ragin' Red, who won the District 14-4A championship last season and finished up 9-3. The annual watermelon fest will be Thursday, Aug. 20, and the Bulldogs will host Mount Pleasant in a scrimmage on Friday, Aug. 21. The season opener is Aug. 28 at Carthage.
