Parts of Houston Street will close to down trees

Two portions of Houston Street will be closed temporarily on Tuesday so that crews can remove two problem trees. Tim Hobbs, director of the city's Street Department, said city workers will begin around 7 a.m. to cut down a dead oak tree on Houston Street near Horseshoe Drive.
