DUMP OR CITY STREET?

2009-08-01 / Lifestyles

Tires and old sofas appear to have found a communal burying ground on Swanson Street in North Kilgore. Hundred of old tires and a dozen or so old sofas, plus mattresses, televions, carpet scraps and more wind up on the barely-maintaained street that more-or-less connects Hwy. 135 with Fritz Swanson Road. the street, just north of the Tierra del Sol subdivision and behind the new emergency services bisects property owned by out of town families. Much of the land is owned by Alexander Conor, William Cobb and Joy Martin-Abst of California. Another tract is onwed by the Eddie Robinson family, of DeSoto, Texas.
