Walden and Tucker exchange vows in August

Matt Walden and Whitney Tucker Clarence and Shauna Gage of Kilgore and Todd and Debbie Tucker of Palmetto Bay, Fla., are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Whitney K'Anne Tucker of Kilgore, to Matthew Douglas Walden of Diana, son of Doug and Tia Walden of Diana and Scott and Tammy Stegall of Commerce.

Whitney's paternal grandparents are Wendell and Wilora Tucker of Kilgore. Her maternal grandparents are Andrew Gilley of Kilgore and Frank and Debbie Rigg on Long Lane, Mo. Her paternal great-grandparent is Betty Darby of Kilgore and her maternal great-grandparent is Lee Hudspeth of Tyler.

Whitney is a 2006 graduate of Kilgore High School and a stay-at-home mom to her son, Rhagan Tucker.

Matt's paternal grandparents are Jean Walden of Longview and the late Charlie Walden. His maternal grandparents are Howard and Bonnie Gibson of Kilgore.

A 2003 graduate of New Diana High School, Matt is manager of Hank's Frame and Wheel Service in Longview and a volunteer firefighter for Diana Fire Department.

The couple plan to exchange vows on Saturday, August 8, 2009, at 6:30 p.m. at First Christian Church of Kilgore, with the blessings of their family and friends.
