Dr. Edwin J. Mays of Waco passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, at Dayspring Baptist Church with the Dr. Burt Burleson officiating. There will be a private family burial at Oakwood Cemetery. There is no scheduled visitation, but he will lie in state beginning Tuesday morning.
