Navy Ensign Steve Crowston, nephew of Nell and Wayne Easley of Kilgore, recently received a commission to his current rank in the U.S. Navy while serving aboard the USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) homeported in San Diego, Calif., during a ceremony held at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion, San Diego.
