The July Fourth holiday falls on Saturday this year so city government offices will be closed on Friday to give their employees time off to celebrate. Even so, the city pool will be open during normal hours, 1 to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
