      The New England Colony Chapter of the Colonial Dames of the Seventeenth Century met on May 23 at the Jalapeno Tree in Longview. President Othodell Smith called the meeting to order and Peggy Nader led the opening prayer. Fourteen ladies were present for the meeting.
