Kilgore girl named to Who's Who Among Students

NACOGDOCHES — Jami Shaw, a 1995 graduate of Kilgore High School, has been chosen for inclusion in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Shaw is a May 2009 graduate student at Stephen F. Austin State University, with a Master of Education degree. Her major was secondary education and she earned a 3.74 grade point average. She was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa National Honor Society.

She is the daughter of Ronny Shaw and Jane Green and granddaughter of Ouida Green, all of Kilgore. Her sister is Robin Shaw of Kilgore.

The Who's Who award was created to recognize outstanding students on American campuses of higher education. Selection is based on the following criteria: scholarship, participation and leadership in academic and extracurricular activities, citizenship, and service to the university and community.
