Kilgore Wal-Mart SuperCenter manager John Kenna announced a donation of $1,000 to the Kilgore and Kilgore College Ducks Unlimited committee. "Wal-Mart has always supported the outdoor sports, especially hunting and fishing," Kenna said. "With this donation, we support not only those activities but also wetland conservation." Brad Tindel, local DU chairman, said that the donation will be used to increase the items available in raffles and auctions at the Kilgore DU banquet. The Kilgore DU banquet is scheduled for 6 p.m. this Thursday at Bodacious Barbecue. Tickets are $35 for a single, $50 for a couple and $20 for a youth if purchased in advance and are available from any Kilgore DU committee member or by calling (903) 984-6507.
