Dot and Hoot Hamman celebrated 60 years of marriage with a reception Sunday, June 14, at Overton First Baptist Church. They were married at First Baptist Church of Overton on June 10, 1949. Dorothy is a retired beautician and active in the church. Hoot, a native of Jamestown, attended Van schools. He is retired from Exxon but still plays the fiddle.
