Kilgore Main Street manager Fallon Burns described the season's first Farmers market as "amazing." She said 14 vendors sold produce, flowers, live plants, jewelry and local honey to a crowd enthused by the selections, the weather and the location. Vendors were so pleased, she said, that they plan a Wednesday afternoon market -- at the World's Richest Acre on Commerce Street -- from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.
