The Pump Jacks trailed 5-0 early, but rallied and trailed just 6-4 in the bottom of the sixth inning. There are still spots available in the field for the 47th annual East Texas Treatment Center Golf Classic. The tournament, to be played at Meadowbrook Country Club here in Kilgore next Friday and Saturday, but the field needs to be filled out soon. Pairings will be made Monday afternoon. When the Kilgore High School baseball team finished their first three games of the District 14-4A schedule and were 0-3, no one could really believe it. A senior class, though, that was among the most decorated in the school's baseball history simply refused to give up. More ...
