FRIDAY OVERTON BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL is Friday and Saturday, June 12-13, at Overton City Park. Concert hours are 1 to 10:45 p.m. on Friday, and noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday. The CCC helped build the foundation of the Texas State Park system in the 1930s and 1940s. Celebration features Dutch oven cooking, blacksmithing, rock shaping, and antique tool demonstrations.
