For the News Herald David Stroud, Kilgore College history professor and historian, was the guest speaker for the Kilgore Rotary Club on Wednesday. Stroud talked about the "Father of the United States Navy," John Paul Jones. A legendary figure in the Revolutionary War, Jones who uttered the famous phrase, "I have not yet begun to fight!
