Waddle and Widener to unite in marriage

Amanda Marie Waddle and William "Bill" Widener Mike and Melinda Waddle of Kilgore are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Marie Waddle, of Kilgore, to William "Bill" Widener, of Kilgore. He is the son of Maj. Mike and Sue Widener of Johnson City, Tenn.

Amanda is the granddaughter of Don and Jerrie Waddle of Norman, Okla., and Nathan and JoAnn Hyde of Purcell, Okla. She is a 2005 graduate of Kilgore High School and attends Kilgore College.

Bill is the grandson of Mildred Prevette of Johnson City. He is a 1999 graduate of University High School in Johnson City and a 2004 graduate of Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City. He is the youth pastor at Crosspointe Fellowship Church.

Amanda and Bill will wed Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Crosspointe Fellowship Church.

The couple plan to reside in Kilgore.
