Mike Sechrist, manager for the Kilgore City Pool said Splash Day, in spite of the weather and having to close early due to lightning was still a success with 185 people taking advantage of the free admission. Sechrist said on Sunday it was a little light with around 90 but Monday was good with 215 paid admissions and lots of under three year olds who get in free.
