HELPING HANDS

2009-05-23 / Front Page

Justin Gaddis (with the shovel), Red Cavarus and Michael Madden were at the World's Richest Acre Park this week installing the latest batch of imprinted bricks in the walkways. The sale of personalized bricks is an ongoing project of Kilgore Historical Preservation Foundation, according to Nina Mata, chairman of the KHPF committee responsible for that park. Bricks are $35 each and engraved marble pavers are $150 each; order by calling 984- 3038. Proceeds from the sale of bricks will be used to buy four new benches and repair the awnings over the tables.
