A small army of workers in orange vests was deployed at the intersection of Main and Rusk streets Thursday morning where a line of concrete trucks was providing raw material for the new intersection. Dry, sunny days have allowed Verizon's workers to move more swiftly to relocate buried phone cables. With Verizon's progress, construction crews are hustling toward completion of the first section of new street and sidewalk.
