BONNIE HANCOCK PHILLIPS
Services for Bonnie Phillips, Liberty City, were held Sunday, May 17, 2009, in the Chapel at Croley Funeral Home of Gladewater with Bro. Leamon Keele officiating. Mrs. Phillips passed away Saturday at a Tyler hospital after a brief illness.
Pallbearers were grandsons Kevin Middleton, Klint Middleton, Jamie Phillips, Zach Phillips, Robby Bass and Randy Bass.
Born August 2, 1932, in Gladewater to Ethyl Hancock, she was an active member at Oakdale Church of Christ. She was a devoted volunteer at the UT Health Science Center at Tyler. She was very active in the Linus Project. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
Survivors include: her husband, Bill Phillips; son, Larry Phillips, Nacogdoches; daughter, Donna Phillips, Kemah; daughter and son-in-law, Karl and Kellie Bass, Kilgore; nine grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and brother, Joe Neil Hancock.
Memorial donations may be made to the Volunteer Services Council at UTHSC in Tyler or Oakdale Church of Christ.
