Splash Day at the city's pool will be Saturday, May 23, and swimmers can enjoy the waters for free. The pool will also open Sunday and Memorial Day, May 24-25. B.J. Owen, director of special services, said workers began filling the pool this week and lifeguards will be practicing their skills next week.
